By using LeaseScan at leasescan.io, you agree to these terms. LeaseScan is operated by VantagePoint Networks ("we", "us").

1. The Service

LeaseScan is an AI-powered tool that reads residential lease and tenancy agreement documents, identifies clauses, and provides plain-English explanations with severity ratings. The service is informational only.

2. Not Legal Advice

LeaseScan does not provide legal advice. Nothing produced by LeaseScan constitutes legal advice, legal opinion, or a solicitor-client relationship. The analysis is generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. You must not rely solely on LeaseScan output when making decisions about a lease. Seek independent legal advice before signing any tenancy agreement.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use LeaseScan. By using the service you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to lease documents you upload. By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of generating your report. You must only upload documents you have the right to share. Do not upload documents containing the personal data of others without their consent.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the service
• Resell or redistribute reports without our written permission
• Use automated tools to make bulk requests beyond normal use
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the service

6. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed by Stripe. Single-scan purchases are non-refundable once your report has been generated. Subscription plans may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If you experience a technical failure that prevents delivery of your report, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.

7. Accuracy and Limitations

AI analysis is not perfect. LeaseScan may miss clauses, misclassify severity, or fail to identify jurisdiction-specific issues. We make no warranty that the analysis is complete, accurate, or up to date with current law. Jurisdiction coverage and legal accuracy improve over time but are not guaranteed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VantagePoint Networks is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on LeaseScan output, including decisions made about lease agreements. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific report or subscription period in question.

9. Intellectual Property

The LeaseScan platform, analysis engine, and all associated software are owned by VantagePoint Networks. Reports generated for your lease are yours to use for personal purposes.

10. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid subscribers.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
